One of the greatest gifts I have ever given myself is to complete the Blue Print Coaching Process. At first, I could not understand how this coaching process would help me, but I decided to trust the process and now, I am so glad I did. It is the most amazing feeling to come out of my shell and finally step into my life. This process has given me the ability to completely see that everything is just perfect and that I deserve this magical life I create each day. I find myself smiling more for no particular reason other than the sheer appreciation I feel for my life. I am completely at peace with myself. I stand by Blue Print Coaching and even more so, I stand by my coach Martina. I could not have reached this point without her. Martina has been a constant source of inspiration, motivation, encouragement, and support. I thank her immensely for facilitating this process with such grace and expertise. – Rosa
Martina is an expert in Debbie Ford’s work. She is loving and understanding while holding you to account and making sure you live up to your biggest version of yourself. She can see who I really am, which is a complete gift. It is a privilege to work with her. – Anne
A couple of years back, I realized that even though I am over 40, I still tiptoe around my parents and try to do things right by them and feel guilty if I don’t. I try to please my parents. And when I would sense that my parents, especially my father would get upset, I would just become quiet, swallow it and pretend nothing had happened.
In working with courage coaching I was able to get out of that pattern.
I just recently was visiting my parents and my dad got very upset. A few things happened at that moment. I could see him as a little hurt boy who is trying to defend himself, just like I have been, all this time, and that gave me a lot of compassion and understanding and also space to be with him. And I also was able to say what I needed to say, without making myself small, or backing down or feel guilty afterward. I was standing my ground, without having to attack. And that allowed him to let go of whatever he needed to let go of, because usually, he would hold on to grudges for quite some time, this time he was much better by the evening and had let the grudge go by the next day. – Claudia
Martina’s knowledge, skill, and instincts powerfully guided me through a process that was both transformative and profound. She kept me on track, challenged me to dig deeper and cheered me on with her delight and good humor I suddenly feel like a newly hatched chick, which is quite a feat for this 75-year old “hen”! I am so excited for my next steps…..such an amazing experience! – Cynthia
I had a herniated disk and I was seriously considering surgery because I was taking three to four strong painkillers a day and they would make me drowsy. I went to see Martina and started taking classes with her and doing my exercises every day and within one month, I was down to one painkiller with a few days of none. I am appreciative that I didn’t have to go through the operation. – Tim
Svaroopa Yoga is the most incredible experience/feeling. First-the class itself: at the end, my body and mind feel like a young child’s before they take a nap-totally free and ultimately peaceful. In addition, I have a life-altering pain in my neck where I have had to stay in bed. Now, all I have to do is a series of poses and the pain goes completely away. If I did “more yoga” it would probably permanently leave. Even though Svaroopa is ultimately powerful, Martina’s teaching presence creates a safe place that is incomparable. Class with Martina is a stepping into another, better world. I am so thankful that I am able to take her class. – Carol
I was introduced to Svaroopa Yoga from a sister in Vermont who had been practicing for two years with seemingly magical results. Her whole attitude and outlook were different. When I, who had been doing Iyengar and Anusara and Hatha yoga for 30 years, felt her gentle nudging towards Svaroopa, I pretty much smugly smiled and said, thanks but no thanks, I know about yoga…until I was in enough chronic/psychic pain to try anything!
An initial search for a practitioner revealed that no one at the time did Svaroopa on Long Island, where I have lived for 35 years, so I picked one from NYC, at random, from the online list at Svaroopayoga.org. For me, this decision and active participation on a daily basis, with weekly trips into NYC turned out to be a very powerful move toward self-care and body awareness.
When I got a message that a Svaroopa practitioner was finally on Long Island, I called immediately and began a class as soon as possible. Martina is a spirited woman who is enthusiastic about and very dedicated to her craft. Martina’s class always gives me a level of relaxation and de-stressing and peace of mind I have found nowhere else but in a Svaroopa practice. I am completely confident that this kind of yoga has given me a new life–from the inside–out. – Ann
I came to Martina with a frozen shoulder which caused persistent pain in my shoulder and arm. Nothing I had tried up until then made any difference – it just hurt all the time and I found it very difficult to relax enough to get a good night’s sleep. Martina did body wisdom with me and I had some great insights about what caused the pain and thereby had avenues for helping myself. The pain got lessened and became much more manageable. I had never given myself permission to understand how much our body will tell us if we are guided to hear what it has to communicate.
Martina also gave me several embodiments during that period, which greatly help me to relax and reverse the bad cycle of no relaxation and poor sleep, which just makes you more irritable and tense, so it is even harder to get good sleep. – Anne
